The cypress tree is a large coniferous tree with aromatic foliage, that typically matures to stand over 80 feet tall. Native to the Mediterranean, it is now common throughout Asia, North Africa, Southern Europe and Northern America. Cypress balls are the resinous spherical cones – or seeds – of the tree.

Coriander is an annual flowering plant with aromatic leaves and seeds, grown worldwide as a culinary herb. Native to Southern Europe, South West Asia and North Africa, coriander thrives in warm climates and well-drained soil.

The juniper plant is an upright evergreen shrub grown widely in the northern hemisphere. The plant produces green cones that look like berries, growing green initially then turning a black-grey as they ripen.

Liquorice is the root of Glycyrrhiza glabra, or liquorice plant, which is a herbaceous perennial plant native to the Middle East, southern Europe and parts of Asia including India. The liquorice root can be up to 50 times sweeter than sugar.

Oregano is an aromatic, bushy perennial plant grown widely across the globe as a culinary herb. Native to southern Asia and to the Mediterranean.

Ivy is an evergreen, leafy climbing plant – with glossy dark green leaves, occasionally variegated - that is popular throughout the world as an ornamental garden plant, growing well in shady places.

Honeysuckle is an arching shrub or twining vine, frequently cultivated as an ornamental garden plant for its attractive and fragrant flowers. Native to North America and northern latitudes of Eurasia, the honeysuckle is also found in the Himalayas, southern Asia and North Africa.

The beet plant is a perennial plant native to northern Europe and Asia, commonly cultivated for its deep purple-red-coloured edible root, known as beetroot.

Marihuana – also known as cannabis amongst other slang terms - is a short-lived annual plant that flowers in late summer. Thought to have originated from Central Asia, it is now cultivated across the globe, primarily for its narcotic properties. The plant has characteristically long, serrated leaves and aromatic flower buds.

Luscious pea is a bushy or climbing annual plant often grown as an ornamental plant for the sweet scent and delicate appearance of its flowers. Native to the Mediterranean, the sweet pea thrives in sunny climates and dry soil.
